We are delighted to announce the return of training sessions at the Gosling Velodrome. The track and the banking are looking great after lots of maintenance during lockdown and we are grateful for the significant hard work of many volunteers that has enabled us to reopen under the new measures.
Sessions will be run according to the new Covid-19 Behaviour Code which all riders and parents must ensure is understood and complied with.
Another change is that riders must book and pay for training sessions in advance via our new online booking system. This is to avoid cash payments, sign-on, and the need to access the shed. Entries cannot be accepted unless booked online in advance – no exceptions! Places will normally become available within 2 weeks of the session, initially. We are grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding as we settle into the new arrangements.
On arrival, riders will be checked into the session outside the Welwyn Wheelers bike shed at the entrance to the track. Riders will then be asked to move to an individual designated area which will be allocated for them by the lead coach.
Please note that we will not be running any Track Novice Sessions until April 2021.
