The first of the Lee Valley Youth Spring Series circuit races took place on Saturday with a great turn out for all categories, including over 40 riders in the Under 12 categories. Whilst the weather provided blue sky and sunshine, the riders still needed to contend with very windy conditions on the relentless climb up the famous Hoggenberg.
This tough circuit produced some great racing for some – Leon won the Youth B boys race by 1.10 seconds and Henry Hobbs took an ‘off road detour’ resulting in him needing to work on his own to get back into the bunch and still make the podium.
