John McClelland caught Tony Gibb napping to win the opening 10 lap scratch, Gibb got his revenge in the ‘odds and evens’ 10 lap Block Pursuit his pressure blowing the team apart with 3 laps to go.

Anthony Miller, Brian Evans and Martin Dawkins each took wins in the Senior B group  events – the Points race finishing with 3 riders tied on points after 10 keenly contested laps.

The 10 mile saw a 4 man breakaway build up a 200m lead with the pursuing bunch trying hard to get on terms – with 3 laps to go Gibb took for an easy win in the fastest time of the season.

The youth numbers were depleted by the Assen Youth week but still provided some keen competition especially in the Youth C/D group with different winners in each of the hotly contested handicap races.
