Three senior mens teams elected to ride the 3 up event near Stansted promoted by the Victoria CC.  Conditions were warm but breezy and all the riders had their work cut out battling into cross-head winds on the rolling 10.2 mile course. 

The three Welwyn Wheelers teams were roundly beaten by the trio from Cambridge University CC who recorded an impressive time of 21:37 on what is a tough course. 

Joanne Knight rode the solo event and was the second fastest lady recording 27:54 and beating a number of the male competitors.
