Ken Smith and Andrew Porter rode the Norlond 25 on the F1 on a near perfect but chilly september morning on 21 September.  On a quick day, 20 riders out of a field of 48 finishers went under the hour.  The event was won by D Kendall of Finsbury Park CC in 53:51 

Both Ken and Andrew improved on their times on the same course set two weeks previously in the club championships, Andrew by 35 seconds and Ken by a massive 2:46.  Ken's time of 1:02:18 is (I believe) a new age group record for 25 miles and one of Ken's targets for the season.
