Welwyn Wheelers organise a number of social activities during the year.

Winter 'Championships'

During the club run season Welwyn Wheelers holds it's ‘fun' championship events, which rely on riders skill rather than fitness or speed. The Speed Judging and Freewheeling Competitions are usually held on the same day in November and the Treasure Hunt is held in December. There are no entry fees for these events and they are open to both first and second claim members of Welwyn Wheelers

Mountain biking

So far the club have made day visits to Thetford Forest in Norfolk and off-road forays around the countryside of Hertfordshire. The club welcomes any other requests.....

Club Presentation Buffet Lunch

A buffet lunch will be held directly after the club cyclocross championship at the Gosling Sports Park. The lunch will be followed by the presentation of the club trophies to this year's lucky recipients. This event will take place on Satruday December 1st. Details on ticket prices for the buffet will follow.
