			<title>European Junior Cycling Tour Assen</title>
			<link>index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=550&amp;Itemid=76</link>
<description>The Assen Youth Tour, now re-named the European Junior Cycling Tour, is in its 46th year and has been an international event for quite some years. Welwyn riders started attending this event some eight or so years ago. Andy Fenn was one of our riders to have seen early success in years gone by, winning this event twice. Tom Gallacher started racing here, in cat 3, eight years ago, has improved, year on year and would not miss this race for the world! This year over 700 participants from 10 European countries are taking part and even some from as far away as the United States. This makes the Assen Youth Tour the biggest event of its kind in Europe. We hope more young Welwyn riders may consider taking part in this event in years `to come.See the results pages for the race results. </description>
