Welcome to the Welwyn Wheelers Cycling Club We're an expanding club based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The club offers many opportunities and services to the cycling community, and Welwyn Wheelers CC members participate in all aspects of cycle sport and leisure. You'll find plenty of information here about the club and what we do. From October until the start of the track season the Saturday morning sessions will use riders own bikes. These can be road, mountain or cyclocross bikes. The activities taking place will to some extent depend upon what bike you have.
Note that the Saturday session times have changed. They are now 09:00 to 11:10. We would encourage riders to arrive promptly for a 09:00 start.
In addition to Saturdays, two other weekly sessions will take place, a club-member only session on Wednesdays and an open session on Thursdays. Both sessions will consist of road bikes on the track (no fixed wheel) and cyclo-cross (cyclo-cross or mountain bikes can be used) around the track perimeter. The Wednesday session will run from 19:00 to 21:00 and the Thursday one from 19:30 to 21:00. |
