Tim Chandler completed the 2008 Three Peaks cyclo-cross race in a time of 5:08:49.  This is reputedly the toughest cross race in the world.  A blow by blow account will I am sure follow but to give you a flavour of the day I quote from Tim's text message summary: "Cramps in stomach and both legs.  Relief to finish."

There is an extensive report on the BC website (see link below).  The winner Rob Jebb made the most of the good weather conditions to take the course record and his 7th consecutive win in this event.
