Martin and Joe Fry and Andy and Archie Wishart made up the two father and son pairings competing in round 3 of the eastern region cross league promoted by CC Ashwell held at a new location at the Knights Templar school in Baldock.  This was a relocation from Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage and the new course seems to have been well received.

The unusualy dry and warm weather made for very fast racing.  Joe came 1st and Archie 3rd in the U12 race with Tom Durkin coming in a 7th.  Martin came 55th and Andy 64th in the senior race. Martin explained that the fast dry course didn't play into his hands and that he was looking forward to some proper mud later in the winter.
